Classic Vinyl Records,
Cut One at a Time.

Black or clear vinyl, with your songs, from one copy. A classic vinyl record plays on both sides, in 7, 10 or 12-inch. You send the music, and VinylArt Co cuts it to order on our own lathes, straight from your audio.

Black or clear

Black or Clear Vinyl Records.

Black vinyl records are the ones most people picture: deep black, with your centre label in the middle. Clear vinyl records let the light straight through, so the label seems to float.

Both are cut the same way, on the same lathes, and both are the same price.

You choose the colour in the designer, along with the size and the label.

How we cut it

Cut on a Lathe, One at a Time.

We don't press. Every record is cut in real time, straight from your audio, so the record you keep is the cut itself, not a copy pressed from it. That is why one copy is a normal order, not a minimum run.

Labels on their own, for records you already have: custom centre labels, or a pack of white centre labels.

What Our Customers Are Saying

Before you order

Got Questions?

What are the vinyl record sizes?

Vinyl records come in three standard sizes, and we cut all three: the 7-inch, 17.4 cm across, up to 6 minutes a side; the 10-inch, 25 cm, up to 14 minutes; and the 12-inch, 30 cm, up to 20 minutes. Every one plays on both sides.

What size is my vinyl record?

Measure it across: about 17.4 cm is a 7-inch, 25 cm a 10-inch and 30 cm a 12-inch.

7-inch or 12-inch: which do I need?

Count the minutes, not the songs. A 7-inch holds up to 6 minutes a side, so a song or two each side. A 12-inch holds up to 20 minutes a side, enough for an album. The 10-inch sits between, at up to 14 minutes a side.

How many songs fit on a vinyl record?

It depends on how long they are: the limit is minutes, up to 20 a side on a 12-inch. Pick your songs in our playlist tool and it shows every record they fit. Playlist to vinyl

33 or 45 rpm?

The 7-inch plays at 45 rpm. The 10-inch and 12-inch play at 33⅓ rpm as standard, or 45 rpm if you choose it in the designer.

Black or clear vinyl: what's the difference?

The look. Both are cut the same way, on the same lathes, and cost the same. Black is the classic record; clear lets the light through around your centre label.

Does it come with a white label?

Yes. Every classic vinyl record comes with plain white centre labels, free, so a white label record of your own music is the standard order. You can print your own labels instead, for £3.00 more, or buy a pack of white centre labels on their own.

Can I order just one?

Yes. Every record is cut one at a time, so a single copy is a normal order. How to make your own vinyl record
