Got Questions?
What if it doesn’t arrive before Christmas?
Your order shows its estimated dispatch date before you pay, worked out from our current workload, and checkout gives an estimated delivery range for your country. If the day itself matters most, give a voucher instead, and they design the record in the new year.
Can I send it straight to them?
Yes. Put their address in at checkout and the record goes to them instead of to you.
Can I use a song I bought?
Yes, for private use, under our MCPS-PRS Limited Manufacture licence. What we can’t make is an exact copy of an existing album.
Which photos can I use?
Your own. No album covers, band logos or celebrity photos — we have no licence for those.
Do they need a record player?
To play it, yes. Every size except the 5-inch plays on a normal turntable. The 5-inch is experimental and doesn’t play on every deck.
How many songs fit?
A 7-inch picture disc holds one song (up to 6 minutes) and the heart up to 8½ minutes. A 10-inch picture disc holds up to 14 minutes and a 12-inch picture disc up to 20, both on one playing side. A 12-inch classic vinyl holds up to 20 minutes on each of its two sides. The playlist builder in the designer shows what fits as you add each song.
Can I add a message or their name?
Yes. Write it on the matt-white back of any picture disc, print it on the centre label, or put it on a printed cover. The labels and covers are added in the designer.
