Anniversary picture disc gift: in their kitchen, Pam, still in her orange cycling helmet, hands Gary a picture disc printed with a photo of the two of them on their red tandem, and Gary, in his green jumper and dog slippers, has already burst into tears.
She had it made. He was always going to cry.

Our tunes

The Songs Nobody Else Would Pick.

The first dance. The one from the car on the first holiday. The one that was on when it all went wrong and then right again. Every couple has a handful of songs that only mean anything to the two of them.

Put them on one record, with your photo printed edge to edge, and they stop being a playlist that gets lost when the phone does. It sits on the shelf with your faces on it.

Pam and Gary picking their songs on the living-room floor among stacks of records: Pam holds up one sleeve as her final word, Gary lies on his back hugging another, eyes closed.
She picks. He remembers.

Ways to give it

Pick the Songs. We Cut One Copy.

Choose the songs, add your photo, and we cut one record. Commercial songs are fine for a private gift.

For him, for her, or for the two of you to make together with a gift voucher (see below).

A picture disc printed edge to edge with a photo of a couple on their red tandem.

The Songs of Your Years.

Your photo to the edge and up to 20 minutes of music: around 4 songs at about four minutes each.

A 7-inch picture disc printed edge to edge with a photo of a young couple on their wedding day outside a little stone church.

Your Song and Your Faces.

Your photo to the edge, up to 6 minutes of music: the one song that is yours.

from £17.00

Or heart-shaped, from £27.00

Start a 7-inch picture disc
A 12-inch classic vinyl record in black, the grooves catching the light.

Or: A Side Each.

Black vinyl, music on both sides. Up to 20 minutes a side: your songs for them on Side A, theirs on Side B. Your photo goes on the cover or the centre label.

Why one side? On a picture disc your photo is printed right across the record, so the groove is cut into one face only. If you want music on both sides, choose classic vinyl and put your photo on the cover or the centre label.

Add a printed cover with your record from £8.00 or a centre label from £5.00

Your songs, your voice

Yes, You Can Use Your Song.

Search for tracks in the designer, upload your own files, or both. Commercial songs are fine for private use under our MCPS-PRS Limited Manufacture licence; an exact copy of an existing album is not. For pictures, use your own photos: no album covers, band logos or celebrity photos.

“I managed to upload our first dance song which was never released on vinyl.”

Gary records a voice message into his phone, sobbing into his hanky, while Pam, dry-eyed, slides the tissues across; their tandem picture disc lies on the table.
Take seven. Still crying.

Say It, Don't Just Play It.

The playlist builder records straight from your microphone. A few words before the first song, in your own voice, need no licence at all — they belong to you. It is the part of the record nobody else could have made.

The Questions People Ask First.

How many songs fit on a record?
A 7-inch holds 6 minutes a side and a 12-inch 20 minutes a side. A picture disc plays on one side, so a 12-inch picture disc takes around 4 songs at about four minutes each. Add your songs in the playlist builder and it will tell you exactly.
Can I put our song on it, even a commercial one?
Yes, for a private gift. Commercial tracks are covered by our MCPS-PRS Limited Manufacture licence. You can search for tracks in the designer or upload your own files. An exact copy of an existing album is not allowed.
Why does a picture disc play one side only?
Your photo is printed right across the record, so the groove is cut into one face only. If you want music on both sides, choose classic vinyl in black or clear and put your picture on the printed cover or the centre label instead.
Can I record a message instead of a song?
Yes. The playlist builder records straight from your microphone, so you can put a few spoken words before the first song. Your own voice needs no licence.
Can we choose the songs together?
Yes. Give a gift voucher and sit down together to pick your tunes. It is emailed with a printable PDF on the day you choose, and it is valid for 24 months.
Can we add our names or the date?
Yes, on the centre label or on a printed cover, or as part of the photo on a picture disc. All of it is added in the designer, and the prices are on this page under the ways to give it.
How long does it take?
Every order shows an estimated dispatch date, worked out from our current workload, before you pay, and checkout gives an estimated delivery range for your country. We also publish our measured order-to-dispatch history, updated from real orders.

How we measure theseFull FAQ

Gary kneels in front of the record player as their tandem picture disc spins, sobbing into a wrung-out hanky beside a puddle of tears, while Pam reads a magazine on the sofa without looking up.
Track one. He lasted four seconds.
On the doorstep, Gary holds their tandem picture disc up to the sky like a newborn, weeping, while a deadpan delivery driver waits with his scanner and Pam watches from the doorway with a mug.
Signed for. Barely.
On the sofa arm, Pam and Gary hold one black record between them: Pam points firmly at her side, and Gary, already in tears, dabs his eye with a hanky.
Her side first. He wasn't consulted.
