What Is a 10-inch Picture Disc?
A picture disc is a clear record with your picture sealed inside, cut on the same lathes to the same standard, with exactly the same sound quality as classic vinyl. This 10-inch is about 25 cm across, plays on any normal turntable at 45 or 33⅓ rpm, and holds up to 14 minutes on its one side.

About This Picture Disc
Upload a photo or artwork, place it in the designer, and see it turn in 3D before you order.
- Recording time
- Up to 14 minutes on one side, and up to 12 tracks. The gaps between tracks count: 4 seconds each, unless you change them.
- Too long?
- Run over and the designer tells you. Take a track off, or let us trim the last one with a gentle fade.
- Speed
- 45 or 33⅓ rpm. You choose in the designer: 45 unless you pick 33⅓.
- Your picture
- Upload the largest original you have, not a copy saved from social media. The designer tells you if a picture is too small to print sharp.
- Your music
- Upload your own audio, record a message, or pick songs and we buy them for you. Commercial tracks are covered by our licence for private use. The licence covers music only: use your own pictures, or ones you have the rights to.
- Sleeve and cover
- A card insert sleeve is included, in black, white or brown. Add a printed cover in the same designer: it costs less with the record.
- Mastering
- Mastering included. Your audio is mastered for vinyl and your picture prepared for print.
- Check it first
- At checkout, choose Approve first to hear your master and see the proofs before we make it. It adds about a day.
- More than one
- Each copy costs less when you order more than one of the same design.
- Packing
- Packed flat in a reinforced mailer and sent tracked. Your account shows each stage: verifying, mastering, cutting, shipped.

Can I use any songs?⌄
Yes. Commercial tracks are covered by our MCPS-PRS licence for private use, and your own recordings or a voice message are welcome too.

What size photo should I send?⌄
The original file, at 300 dpi: 3,136 px across for this 10-inch picture disc. A picture saved from social media is heavily compressed, and it shows in print.
Can I use an album cover or a photo of a celebrity?⌄
No. We are licensed for the music, not for artwork, so album covers, band logos, record label marks and photos of celebrities are out. Your own photos, drawings and designs are fine. More on copyright and licensing.
